Absolutely. We offer several modalities for repairing and improving the appearance of stretch marks. The stage , age and texture of the stretch marks are all important indicators of which treatment will be best for you. And it's important to note that most stretch marks, regardless of treatment type, will require multiple sessions for optimal results. Lasers are very effective for treating scars. What's most important to consider is the type of laser, and it's application for your specific scarring. Some lasers more impactful than others in treating scars, and some are safer for skin of color than others. Since most lasers cannot offer complete scar removal, many clients come to see me after having had multiple rounds. Restoring proper pigmentation through the use of ink and the camouflage tattoo method is a very effective way to then treat surgery scars comprehensively. In some cases, laser may be a preferable or safer option and that is what we can talk about during your initial consultation. Although ALL lasers may be marketed as being good for scars, I have done the research to know which are most effective, safe and compatible with scar camouflage.
